Lasting Powers of Attorney

A Lasting Power of Attorney is a legal document, drawn up so that you can appoint someone (usually a close friend or member of your family) to carry out your wishes if you are unable to. A Lasting Power of Attorney cannot be recognised by the law until it has been registered with the Office of The Public Guardian.

Making a Lasting Power of Attorney will mean that you can decide today who will be responsible for your health, financial welfare and general wellbeing in the future, should you lose capacity.

Our Testimonials

“Dear Karen,

Thank you very much indeed for all that you, William Brown, and your support team at Hodders have done in connection with this purchase, and with the associated sale of Wallers Haven Barn. There were many times when I thought that we were not going to make one or the other, and it is in very large part down to your persistence that we are exchanged. Your care, patience and attention to detail have been much appreciated.
